Overleaf/ShareLaTeX: problems accessing and compiling

Since Tuesday there was a reoccurring problem for some users accessing the service (error

503. and compiling documents in the editor.
     No obvious problem was detected and consequently the service was briefly restarted at
     03.40 pm Thursday to correct the issue.
     The vendor support will be contacted as well.
