With the current update of the ownCloud client to version 6, a bug has been discovered on macOS systems. This bug causes files with umlauts in their file names to be deleted during synchronization.
This bug only affects the client for macOS. Windows and Linux clients are not affected. This is not a problem on our end, but rather a bug in the ownCloud software itself. We have already reported the problem to ownCloud, but are currently unable to fix the cause ourselves.

Legacy SCC usernames will no longer be able to use the HPC login and compute nodes starting in 2026. The GWDG Unix HOMEs and Tape Archive (AHOME) will no longer be accessible from the SCC Legacy island. SCC users that have not done so yet need to migrate to project-specific usernames (of the form u12345) via the HPC Project Portal.

After the reinstallation, the license server is now available again.

The functionality of the pages is not affected by this.
