Extension of the perimeter firewall of the University of Göttingen and GWDG

Work is pending on the perimeter firewall of the University of Göttingen and GWDG. All data packets between the Internet and the GWDG services or the Internet and the University of Göttingen pass through these devices.

We do not expect any major disruptions due to the work; however, there may be isolated disconnections.

The reason for this measure is to increase the bandwidth between the Internet and GWDG/University of Göttingen by using stronger and more modern hardware.
