New design and improved user guidance in the account portal

Our account portal at https://id.academiccloud.de is now available in a new design. The user interface is visually modelled on the Academic Cloud and offers a modern, uniform appearance with a clear structure and improved usability.

The aim of the changeover is to significantly improve user guidance - especially when registering for multi-factor authentication (MFA) - and to create a consistent design across different services. At the same time, the portal was technically converted to a common technology stack in order to be able to implement future enhancements more easily and efficiently.

In addition to direct access, the portal can also be accessed via the website www.gwdg.de - simply click on ‘My portal’ in the top right-hand corner.
