Jupyter-Cloud: new storage now in service!

The new storage has been brought online between 7pm and 8pm on Friday.

All primary user data has been copied from the old storage to the new storage with a final synchronization during the downtime.

As previously mention, due to the amount of user data various cache files where excluded from the copying process. User who had additional software installed in their environment may likely have to reinstall them again.

The decision to omit this data in the copying process was in order to limit the duration of the overall process and avoid possibly a days long downtime of the service.

The previous storage with all its unchanged content can still be accessed on the backup node at https://backup.jupyter-cloud.gwdg.de. Users who need to retrieve specific data or old versions of their files can do so for the next few weeks and copy them over to the main service.
