Shutdown of the BBB servers behind meet.gwdg.de

For regular users of our BigBlueButton service, the migration of all rooms and recordings from https://meet.gwdg.de/ to https://meet.academiccloud.de/, which was completed in February, is certainly nothing new. If you go to the old website, you will also see a clear banner indicating the new address and containing more detailed information.

The new infrastructure is stable and productive. We are therefore planning to shut down the old system for good. To ensure that links to old rooms or recordings continue to work, there will be a redirect page for an indefinite period of time that will point to the appropriate new URL. Please update your bookmarks, dates, websites or templates anyway. This redirect will also be switched off at some point.
