Temporary shutdown of the Asknet Software Store https://gwdg.asknet.de

As previously announced, the Asknet Software Shop will be discontinued today (June 30, 2026).

According to the latest update from Asknet GmbH, it is unfortunately not possible to postpone the shutdown of the “Software Portal for Lower Saxony” until July 31, 2026.

The next steps and possible alternatives are currently being coordinated and reviewed. We will keep you informed as soon as new information becomes available.

Unfortunately, the GWDG was informed at short notice that the
Asknet Software Shop
(https://gwdg.asknet.de) will cease operations on June 30, 2026. Please make
sure that you have downloaded and saved all necessary
download files for software you have already purchased by this date,
as these will likely
no longer be available afterward.

After June 30, 2026, inquiries and orders with Asknet can only be
processed directly via the email address vertrieb@asknet.com.

Asknet is currently
evaluating the possibility of postponing the shop shutdown to July 31, 2026. Further information on this matter is
expected to be available by the end of this week (Calendar Week 26).
